What Roldesk is, who it's for, and a 30-second tour of the modules you'll use every day.

Welcome to Roldesk

Roldesk is the operating system for field-service teams — HVAC, electrical, solar, plumbing, IT installers, generator service, refrigeration, and anyone else who dispatches technicians to job sites. We bring dispatch, work orders, inventory, preventive maintenance, and a customer-facing portal into one place so the whole team works off the same source of truth.

What's in the app

When you sign in, the left sidebar has eight modules. Here's what each one does:

  • Dashboard — your daily heads-up: open jobs, today's schedule, recent activity.
  • Scheduler — calendar view of every work order. Drag jobs onto the calendar to assign times.
  • Field Service — work orders, the Dispatch Board (kanban), Projects (multi-WO rollups), Preventive Maintenance, and Tasks.
  • CRM — accounts, contacts, leads, quotes, invoices, financials. Everything customer-relationship.
  • Assets — Equipment, Warehouses, Vehicles, Parts, Tools. The physical things you track.
  • GPS Tracking — live map of vehicles and technicians on the move (mobile app required).
  • Reports — revenue, AR aging, inventory snapshots, period reports.
  • Settings — general workspace settings, users, roles, importing data.

The customer portal

Every work order, quote, and invoice can be shared with the end customer through a one-tap link. They open it without signing in and see status, technician, ETA, photos, signatures, and a printable invoice on completion. We cover this in Sharing status with customers.
