Working in your language and currency

Set your own interface language (English, Spanish, or Portuguese) and the language + currency your customers see on documents.

Language and currency

Roldesk speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and there are two separate settings — one for you, one for your customers.

Your interface language

Open Profile and choose your preferred language. The entire backoffice — menus, buttons, labels — switches immediately, and your choice is remembered on your device. Every teammate can pick their own language independently; changing yours doesn't affect anyone else.

The mobile app has the same switcher on its Profile screen, so a Spanish-speaking tech can run the whole app in Spanish while an English-speaking dispatcher uses English.

Your customers' language and currency

Separately, an admin sets the customer-facing language and currency for the whole workspace (also from Profile). These control what shows up on the documents your customers receive:

  • Invoice and quote PDFs
  • Work-order PDFs
  • Dispatch and completion notification emails

Currency is a full ISO 4217 list, shown with its code so the choice is unambiguous. Pick the one your business bills in.

Why they're separate

Your team's working language and the language your customers read are often different. Splitting them means your crew can work in whatever's comfortable while every customer document stays consistent in the language and currency you bill in — regardless of who on your team generated it.
