Scheduling individual work-order tasks

Each task on a work order can carry its own scheduled date and time, so the steps of one job can be staggered without creating separate work orders.

Setting a task's schedule

On a work order's Tasks tab, add or edit a task and set the Scheduled date/time field. Tasks that have one show a 🗓 date chip in the list. Tasks also keep their own assignees and estimated time.

When to use it vs. a recurring schedule

Per-task scheduling is for staggering a single job — for example, swap the filter on Tuesday and inspect the compressor on Thursday, all on one work order.

If a component needs servicing on its own repeating interval (monthly, annually, …), that's a preventive maintenance schedule, not a task on a one-off work order.
