Setting up technician skills

You can maintain a controlled list of technician skills and use it when planning work.

Manage the list

Go to Settings → Work Orders → Technician skills and add the skills your team uses (for example HVAC, Electrical, Welding). Save.

Use it on a task

On a work order's Tasks tab, a task's Required skill field suggests the skills from your list as you type. You can still type a custom value if you need one that isn't on the list yet.
