Including catalog services in a contract

A contract can list the catalog Services it includes. Each one snapshots its price and tax when you add it, so the contract's pricing stays stable even if the catalog changes later.

Covered vs. billable

In the contract form's Services included section, pick services from the catalog and set each as:

  • Covered — included in the contract. On work orders generated from the contract the service appears as a line but is not charged (shown struck-through with a Covered badge).
  • Not covered — a billable extra the contract defines; it's charged normally.

On the work order

Covered services ride onto the contract's generated work orders automatically. On any work order's Parts tab you can also toggle a service line's "Covered by contract (don't charge)" per visit. Covered lines are excluded from the work order's totals and tax.
